Air-heated vaporisers use ambient heat to evaporate and superheat cryogenic fluids such as oxygen, nitrogen, argon, hydrogen, carbon dioxide and liquefied natural gas (LNG).
Air-heated vaporisers are typically used for vaporising liquefied gases in the following areas:
Metal processing (for example welding)
Medical technology
Electronics
Water treatment
Energy
Food industry
Environmental technology
Our lightweight, compact aluminium vaporisers are long-lasting, require zero maintenance and are both corrosion- and temperature-resistant. They are also easy to assemble and can be set up without welding or brazing.
Our air-heated vaporisers feature an efficient, fin-tube design and are certified in line with PED/97/23/EG with a CE marking. They have a maximum permissible working pressure of 40 bar and are designed for wind-loads of up to 160 km/h (100 mph). Each vaporiser meets the seismic requirements of UBZ-zone 4. The external and internal surfaces are optimised for convection.
We also offer customised vaporisers for special applications, ranging from mobile vaporisers mounted on container frames through high-pressure vaporisers to special designs for use in combination with helium, for instance.
